At the National Youth Workers Convention last year my wife won a free screening of this movie for our church/community. They haven't followed-through so far. I hope they do soon!

Hmm... I the article misses half the point of raising volunteers: to give them opportunities to use their gifts for the body of Christ. This article unfortunately approaches it as most people do, "I have several holes in our ministry. Which one would you like to fill?" Instead, we should be asking, "How has God gifted you? What are you passionate about? How can we make that fit in our ministry?" When I post YG vids on YouTube, I usually tag them with my town, state and YG name, too. Sometimes when kids are bored they'll search for their local town and it becomes a free video ad of the fun we have together.

I like the idea of setting up a video on youtube that students can share with their friends. We have used youtube before just not in that manner.

I've always been interested in getting involved in the substitute "business". Sounds like a great way to care for students beyond the church doors.

I have seen other sites like this and sometimes wonder if people write real things or just stupid stuff. It breaks my heart to read some of the post on there because I know they are real and girls are really suffering. This is a good site for yp's to look at and get an idea of what teenage girls are going through.
